Here is a look at what are secrets to impress your interviewer and succeed in an interview. For doing that you need to understand what your interviewer is really looking for. He is not looking for just another employee. He wants the best candidate for the job available. So it is all about how you can present yourself as the best possible candidate for the job.

The needs of an interviewer can change according to the post you are applying for but there are many common attributes all the interviewer wants from a candidate.

Always show your confident face to the interviewer.
You need to display a sense of positive energy from within you to make sure that that interviewer gets interested in you. You need to keep a small smile on your face at all time and be cheerful; this is one factor many candidates avoid. But remember that this small smile from your face can win the hearts of many interviewers. Also be confident in your replies. Never hesitate.

Give neutral answers in responses to the various issues.
To find out your response to the issues the interviewer may present you with questions where in you will be forced to take one side over another. In such questions it is always Better to take neutral stance thereby not siding with any side. Such neutral answers can show that you are diplomatic and interviewer will believe that you can handle the practical situations easily.

Answer properly and slowly.
Take your time in preparing your answers. Think and then answer. Also it is not good to keep the interviewer waiting for too long. So when you hear the question, think about it first and then respond to the question in a proper manner. Answer properly so that the interviewer understands what you are saying. Being able to express your ideas properly is one factor that is being checked out by the interviewer. So do not hurry and miss your chance to answer properly.

Importance of practicing Interview questions.
This is one thing many do not do. Practicing interviews helps you a lot In the real situations. So even if you do not attend any coaching institutes make sure that you prepare your answers properly and speak it out in front of the mirror. Practice this 2-3 times for every question. You will see that you will improve from more practice.

Smart
You need to be smart and intelligent. Or in better terms present yourself as a smart individual who anyone can look upon for any advice. Smile and be polite. Never make the mistake of sitting rigid. Be comfortable and look at the face of the interviewer.

Honest
No man like another who lies. Same applies here. No interviewer will like a candidate who lies to him. So honesty is the best policy in an interview. Lies are not worth the risk.

Positive Attitude
You should have a positive attitude towards life. Present yourself before the interview board as an individual who looks forward to a good life in future. Be optimistic always.

Enthusiasm and Confidence
You have to be active in interview and answer questions with spontaneity. If the interviewer asks you a question like if i told you to climb Mt. Everest tomorrow what can you do? Be confident and answer that you will do it after taking necessary precautions. Never say you can’t do it. Never be over confident though.

These tips if followed properly can get you past any interviews. But finally it all comes down to your presentation at the time of interview and your pre interview preparations. So prepare well and face the interview like an expert.

Best of luck.
