{Scholarship} Private: JN Tata Endowment Scholarships 2013-2014 for higher studies abroad

Scholarship: Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarships for the academic year 2013-2014 for higher studies abroad in all disciplines and subjects.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants who are Indian nationals; and graduates of a recognised Indian university with a consistently good academic record; or students in the final year of the degree course; or mid-career professionals upto the age of 45, planning to go abroad for further research, specialisation or training.

Note: At the time of submitting the completed applications, candidates need not have the admission/award letters from the universities to which they have applied, for the academic year 2013-2014.

Selection Process: After the initial screening of applications, candidates will be shortlisted for an interview in person by subject experts. The final selection will be made on the basis of the interview which will be held in Mumbai between March/June, 2013.

Application Form: Prescribed application forms will be available at the administrative office of the endowment at Mulla House, 4th Floor, 51 MG Road, Fort, Mumbai-400001 from 03^rd December, 2012 to 22nd February, 2013. The application fee of Rs 100/- is to be paid in cash or by money order or a demand draft drawn in favour of the JN Tata Endowment mentioning the applicant’s full name and address to enable the endowment to post the form. Completed application forms should reach the office of the endowment not later than 04th March, 2013

{Scholarship} Government: Israel Government Scholarships 2013-14

Scholarship: Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the award of about 4-6 Israeli Government Scholarship tenable from October, 2013 to study in Israel

Duration: These scholarships are for research / specialization for 8 months

Field of Purpose: These scholarships would be available for studies in the Comparative Study (with specific reference to Judaism); Middle East Studies; Hebrew Language and Literature; History of the Jewish people; Economics; Agriculture; Business Management; Mass Communication; Environmental Studies; Chemistry; Biology; Biotechnology

Age: There is no upper age limit for applying for the scholarship

Educational Qualification: For the research/specialization studies, a master’s degree in relevant field with 60% marks or more as on 30th November, 2012 for the subjects of Agriculture, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Environment Studies; and master’s degree in relevant field with 55% marks or more for the remaining subjects. Proof of English or Hebrew Language knowledge is a must.
