Selection Procedure:
There will be a written Competitive Exam (Preliminary) at all of the district headquarters of the Rajasthan in April/May 2012.

Syllabus for RPSC Allied Services: The exam will be conducted in two stages: Preliminary and Mains

Preliminary Exam:

There will be two papers, each carrying 200 Marks. This will be a qualifying exam only and the marks will be not be counted in the final merit. The two papers will be:
a. General Knowledge and General Science
b. Elective Subject.

Mains Exam:

Compulsory Papers
Paper-I: General Knowledge & General Science (100 marks)
Paper-II: General Knowledge of Rajasthan, Rajasthani Society, Art & Culture (100 marks)
Paper-III: General Hindi (200 marks)
Paper-IV: General English (100 marks)
Optional Papers:
Any two subjects to be opted by a candidate from the list of optional subjects. Each subject will have two papers with Maximum Marks of 200 for each paper.
Paper-V,  Paper-VI, Paper-VII, Paper-VIII
